Flooring Grade Plywood is a premium performance plywood designed to provide a strong, stable base for flooring. At Floorwise we can supply a number of leading brands such as Hanson SP101 and Peri Floor alongside our own FloorPly – all fully certified for use as flooring grade plywood as defined in BS8203-2.
The key issues that are assessed for a plywood to meet this flooring grade status are as follows:
– Deviation from nominal thickness
– Density
– No layup faults such as core gaps and overlaps
– Face veneer quality and consistency
– A minimum face veneer thickness of 0.75mm after sanding
– EN 314-2:1993 Class 3 Exterior adhesion in indicative glue bond testing
